A bequest to the AMA Charity allows you to make a gift which will benefit many, beyond your generation.
The AMA Charity relies on the generosity of people in our community, just like you, to continue with its important work. With your support, we will be able to achieve our vision of enhancing road and waterway safety for Australians, through early and further driver and rider education.
This gift, made in a Will, directs a portion of an Estate, a set cash amount, real estate, shares, securities, life insurance or other assets such as fine art, to the Charity.
Bequests can be directed to a specific AMA Charity project or used for general purposes: that's entirely up to the individual.
Your bequest, or legacy, will benefit so many for many years to come.
Wording for your will
To include the AMA Charity in your will we suggest that you use the following wording (subject to legal advice).
Should you wish your bequest to be used solely by the Australian Motor Association Ltd, the following words are provided as a guidance for use in your will:
“I bequeath to Australian Motor Association Ltd for its exclusive use (the residue of my estate), or (a specific sum), or (specified items), or (specified percentage of my estate) free of all duties, and a receipt from an authorised officer of the organisation shall be a complete and sufficient discharge for the executor(s)”
